i guess what he meant is that he didn't do what he did in order to beat the record he did what he did in order to get what he wanted and when he got what he wanted he didn't get it by choosing the wrong he got it by hard work and most of all he was humble, an example is when some one does a better project then you they probably did it to make you jealous but on the other hand you did a good project to get a good grade on it.
Epidemiologist
Duties and Responsibilities:

Epidemiologists study the frequency and distribution of diseases with in human populations and environments. Specifically, they measure the incidence of disease occurrence and relate it to different characteristics of populations and environments. Epidemiologists perform research, education, and public health in practice universities, government agencies international organizations, and private corporations. Epidemiologists often:
·         Work on developing or refining methods of measuring and evaluating disease occurrences.
·         Develop and recommend public health policy.
·         Study and research chronic diseases, infectious diseases and disease outbreaks, injuries , occupations, and environments.

Average Salary: $30,000 - $50,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses (including AP or IB courses) available in science, math, and English.
Epidemiologists have as a minimum, master’s degree in public health under graduate requirements for admissions into public health graduate programs vary by schools but usually include strobg backgrounds biology, chemistry, mathematics and or statistics.

Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:

One of their responsibilities is they check on people and tell them what they have to do in order to eat more healthy also the health hazards that they are prone to getting and that they can change their habits, most of them work in government residencies and they also try to change things and to take out industrial waste also checking plants to see if they’re causing any problems they also say what’s right and what’s not right in safety and health wise issues.

Education Requirements:


For high school those who are interested in becoming this they have to take challenging high school courses in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, English, literature, computer skills, and health occupations/medical professions education.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

One of the few responsibilities and duties that they do is going to help out the injured patients, but when they do they have to be efficient and fast because it can be in the middle of a life or death situation. Another duty they have to do is looking at the signs patients have if they’re developing any sickness or virus and they examine broken bones and take x rays of them and try to give any pain killers. Another task that all EMT do is take pulse of heart and it’s important in order to see if the blood is efficiently pumping blood to the heart correctly, they have very important jobs because they take care of the patients until further notice when they get an official destination.

Average Yearly Salary:
$20,000 - $35,000

Educational Requirements:


In order to become an emergency medical technician you must take training programs for 2-6 month on average and you can be trained at community colleges, technical schools and universities and this can efficiently prepare you for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification exam, but in order to get their you need to do good in high school and take the most difficult courses in Science, Math, and English of coarse they have to be AP classes.

Electroneurodiagnostic Technician

 Electroneurodiagnostic Technician  
Duties and Responsibilities:
Electroneuodiagnostic  technologist use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering  from a central nervous system condition or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke or trauma. The graphs are records of the brains electrical activity.

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists usually work in hospitals, laboratories, physicians’ offices. They:


  1. ·         Prepare medical records.
  2. ·         Apply electrodes and select instrument settings.
  3. ·         Perform Electroneurodiagnostic tests.
  4. ·         Adjust and Maintain their equipment
  5. ·         Record test results
  6. ·         Identify patient abnormalities.

Average Salary: $20,000 - $35,000

Educational Requirements:

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must have a high school diploma and some courses in computer technology before beginning specialized training.
 Electroneurodiagnostic training can be obtained through vocational schools, community colleges, and in some cases hospitals. Training takes one  year and is followed by another year of supervised experience. Before beginning practice Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Registered dietitians provide advice education about nutrition and education about nutrition and it’s effect on health. They work in schools, educational administration, research, hospitals, clinics, industry, food service management, and private practice. Registered dietitians:
·         Organize and supervise food service operations and meal preparation.
·         Make dietary recommendations.
·         Counsel patients and clients about diets.
·         Supervise food purchasing.
·         Study the nutritional value of food and how it’s used by the body.

Average Salary: $30,000 - $40,000

Educational Requirement:
Students should take challenging curriculum that includes math and science courses. High school business courses may also prove helpful.
A bachelor’s degree in dietetics or a related field approved by the American dietetic association is required. Registered Dietitians must also pass a professional exam and complete a supervised practicum.

What this statement means to me that if you have bad grades in school you should study instead of being in your phone or watching t.v it may be hard but you come out with a lot better consequences then not doing that because if you didn't you would have good grades and have your parents disappointed in you etc, so choose the right.

This is a really good statement because it say that you should basically tell other people what's right and that they should do it too, for example like doing your homework you can influence your friend and tell him or her that instead of watching tv they should study or do their homework and then do whatever they want to do because it works out better if you do that and you get really positive results out of it.

                                     Dialysis Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dialysis technicians operate machines that remove waste and excess fluids from the blood of patients whose kidneys can no longer carry out those functions. Dialysis technicians are also referred to as renal dialysis technicians, or nephrology technicians. They work under supervision of physicians, primarily in hospitals and clinics.

Dialysis technicians must fully understand the operation of the kidney dialysis machines. They are responsible for their operation, cleaning, and sterilizing. They must also fully understand their patients’ needs. Dialysis technicians carefully monitor and record weight and vital signs before, during, and after the blood cleaning procedures. Additionally, they instruct patients about in home treatments. Because dialysis technicians work with blood, they must exercise strict safety precautions against infectious diseases such as hepatitis and AIDS.

·         Identify needed prosthesis and repairs

Dental hygienists provide preventive treatment for oral health problems. They also educate patients and promote dental health. They may be employed in health departments, nursing homes, hospitals, dental school, or school districts, but usually they work in private dental offices and clinics. Dental hygienist:
·       Screen patients for dentists.
·       Take and develop radiographs.
·       Remove calculus and plaque from teeth.
·       Apply preventive treatments to teeth.
·       Counsel patients on oral health and teach them appropriate dental health procedures.
·       Perform dental office management duties.
Average salary: $22,000 - $35,000
Educational requirements:
 Dental hygienists must have a high school diploma or GED certificate before participating in dental hygiene education programs.
 Dental hygienists usually earn an Associate’s Degree at a community college or private school. To practice, they must also earn a license by passing the Dental Hygiene National Board examination.
Some hygienists earn Bachelors or Master’s degree if they want to teach, do research, or broaden their scope into public health issue.

Dental assistants help dentists provide dental care. They often work in teams with dental hygienist and laboratory technicians. They may work in health clinics dental schools, nursing homes, and the military, but usually they work for dentists in private practice. Dental assistant duties include:
  • Helping patients feel comfortable during treatment.
  • Taking and developing dental x-rays.
  • Taking medical histories for patients.
  • Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments and equipment.
  • Instructing patients about dental health care to include brushing and flossing.
  • Performing office management tasks.

Educational Requirements:
Dental assistants must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.

They must receive additional training at a community college, vocational school, or dental school to learn their skills. Length of programs varies between six months and one year. To become certified, dental assistants must pass an examination from the Dental Assisting National Board.
