Medical Illustrator 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Medical Illustrators are highly skilled artists, they work strictly in the medical field and create graphics for the textbooks, journals and magazines also educational films. Their drawings span a wide range from microorganisms to the body parts. Some of them draw illustrations that aid in research creation of the artificial body parts and sometimes design the body parts used for examples.

Average Salary:

Educational Requirements:

Students interested in becoming medical illustrators should take a college preparatory program in high school that emphasizes art and science.
In college they should either major in art and minor in science or major in science and minor in art.  Undergraduate science courses should be the same as those required for medical school. In order to be graduated as one you need a degree in medical illustration and a portfolio review.

Medical assistants help physicians and nurses deliver patient care. They schedule appointments; take blood pressures, respiration, temperatures; and perform other routines pre-examining procedures. Sometimes they help with office and clerical tasks. Medical assistants work in hospitals, clinics, and private physician offices.

Average Salary:

$17,000 - $18,000 

Educational Requirements:

Students should complete high school with courses in biology, physical science, office management, communications, and human relations, although medical assistant training programs may accept GED certificates. Medical Assistant training programs by community colleges and for profit technical training schools. They may take six months and two years to complete.  

Reflection:

I would become a medical assistant because it seems interesting and i like the way they pay but to be quite honest i'd like to do other things that are other choices in the medical field.

They evaluate health hazards and also they conduct most health risk assessments and sometimes organize the health programs that give warnings for health , many of them work in a government team, although some use private practices that work better for them. They collect samples and perform analysis, also they check for exposure to radiation that can be dangerous to workers, they also instruct employees on injury prevention techniques.

$40,000 - $60,000

Educational Requirements:

In order to be in this profession you must earn a bachelor’s degree in health and safety or physical sciences. Certification requires successful completion of the American board association in hygiene examination

Reflection:

I don’t think I’d want to be a hygienist because I don’t see myself being that in the future al though it does seem as an interesting job and it pays good I don’t want to be one

I did nothing my whole thanksgiving break to be honest i was just at home, but for thanksgiving my mom made posole and my aunt and my little cousin came over and that was it then we talked, the next day which was Friday i went over to my friends house and we were watching movies and we ate but it was raining that day and that was pretty much it

You can usually find them working in companies that provide help the injured or elderly disabled customers; they take the blood pressure, temperature, and the pulse of the patients. They assist them when they bathe, dress, and get them to bed also they work on making meals for the m and do their chores and helping them keep their environment clean.

Educational Requirements:

In order to get the job you must have a high school diploma and preferably a GED certificate some of the training can be found in community colleges as well.

Reflection: No I wouldn’t want to be a home health aide because it doesn’t seem like an interesting job and I don’t like the amount of pay they distribute another thing is that I’m not good with people.

Histology Specialist

Histology Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:

They repair tissues and Histology technicians and histologists prepare samples by using equipment to thinly slice tissue samples.  They then mount the thin slices on microscope slides and use chemicals to stain them so important structures are visible. Histologists perform more complex and advanced procedures than technicians and often also perform management functions. 
Histology specialists work in hospital, veterinary, pharmacy, or research laboratories.

 Educational Requirements:

In order to become a Histology specialists you must take challenging courses in Math, Science, and English To become a histologic technician, students must either earn an associate's degree in the field and complete a one year internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination. To become a histologist, students must either earn a bachelor's degree that includes a one year clinical internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination.

Reflection:

I wouldn't want to become a histologist because it doesn't seem so interesting and i would like to be something else like a pediatrician, because it seems more interesting and pays good.

They help research the medical disorders in genetics also they help out families to make them realize how it would affect their lives, even though they don’t understand how the genetic disorders happen neither the doctors they still give help on how they should be treated. They work with doctors and find research on the disorders. Also they help the patients  cope with their illness

Education:

In order to become a Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC©), one must obtain a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC Accredited Program. Once all requirements have been met, one may apply and sit for the Certification Examination. 

To be honest i wouldn't want to be a genetic counselor because it doesn't seem so interesting i dislike the salary,

i guess what he meant is that he didn't do what he did in order to beat the record he did what he did in order to get what he wanted and when he got what he wanted he didn't get it by choosing the wrong he got it by hard work and most of all he was humble, an example is when some one does a better project then you they probably did it to make you jealous but on the other hand you did a good project to get a good grade on it.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

One of the few responsibilities and duties that they do is going to help out the injured patients, but when they do they have to be efficient and fast because it can be in the middle of a life or death situation. Another duty they have to do is looking at the signs patients have if they’re developing any sickness or virus and they examine broken bones and take x rays of them and try to give any pain killers. Another task that all EMT do is take pulse of heart and it’s important in order to see if the blood is efficiently pumping blood to the heart correctly, they have very important jobs because they take care of the patients until further notice when they get an official destination.

Average Yearly Salary:
$20,000 - $35,000

Educational Requirements:


In order to become an emergency medical technician you must take training programs for 2-6 month on average and you can be trained at community colleges, technical schools and universities and this can efficiently prepare you for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification exam, but in order to get their you need to do good in high school and take the most difficult courses in Science, Math, and English of coarse they have to be AP classes.

Electroneurodiagnostic Technician

 Electroneurodiagnostic Technician  
Duties and Responsibilities:
Electroneuodiagnostic  technologist use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering  from a central nervous system condition or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke or trauma. The graphs are records of the brains electrical activity.

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists usually work in hospitals, laboratories, physicians’ offices. They:

  2. ·         Apply electrodes and select instrument settings.
  3. ·         Perform Electroneurodiagnostic tests.
  4. ·         Adjust and Maintain their equipment

Educational Requirements:

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must have a high school diploma and some courses in computer technology before beginning specialized training.
 Electroneurodiagnostic training can be obtained through vocational schools, community colleges, and in some cases hospitals. Training takes one  year and is followed by another year of supervised experience. Before beginning practice Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.
