The Sting Of The Scorpion

The Sting Of The Scorpion
Is about a little boy who does something his parents told him not to do, and he ended up getting stung by a scorpion and he ended up learning a lesson which was to always do what people tell you to do because they want it to do you good for example when your parents tell you to do your homework or study they know that it benefits you, because you end up getting good grades, so do what's right because you get good results out of it

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails"
Henry David thoreau
What this quote means is that basically when you do good you can't expect bad things to happen to you because you're actually doing positive actions because when you do negative actions you will get bad consequences in return, an example is like helping someone out and when you're going to need something that person will help you out in return.

"When i do good, i feel good.
When i do bad i feel bad."
Abraham Lincoln
What this statement means to me is that you should do good in order to feel good, for example when you study for a really important quiz for school you feel confident the day of the test and that's a good feeling because as a result you get positive consequences, another example is following the rules good will come out of it. When you do bad you know that it's not right and it leaves you with a bad feeling like when you lie to someone you know it's not the truth, another example is stealing you shouldn't because it gives you negative consequences

I have three messages:
1) We should never, ever give up.
2) You are never too old to chase your dreams
3) It looks like a solitary sport, but it takes a team.
Diana Nyad, American Swimmer

If there were people who gave up easily they wouldn't be able to meet their goals and they will have some kind of guilt of not finishing what they started. I think Diana worked really hard to accomplish her goal and what people should learn about her is that you shouldn't give up because really good things will come out of not giving up, so always do the right thing.
