What he means is that just because the popular thing means doing wrong it doesn't mean that you should do wrong too because it doesn't make you any better instead it drags you down and it ends up affecting you a lot in a really bad way so instead of doing what's "cool" do what you think is right for you and hopefully you'll end up in good steps instead of being in bad ones some examples of doing what's popular or cool are
- doing drugs
- bullying people online
- gossiping
