Industrial Hygienist
Duties and Responsibilities:
They evaluate health hazards and also they conduct most
health risk assessments and sometimes organize the health programs that give
warnings for health , many of them work in a government team,
although some use private practices that work better for them. They collect
samples and perform analysis, also they check for exposure to radiation that
can be dangerous to workers, they also instruct employees on injury prevention
techniques.
Average Salary:
$40,000 - $60,000
Educational Requirements:
In order to be in this profession you must earn a bachelor’s
degree in health and safety or physical sciences. Certification requires
successful completion of the American board association in hygiene examination
Reflection:
I don’t think I’d want to be a hygienist because I don’t see
myself being that in the future al though it does seem as an interesting job
and it pays good I don’t want to be one
